Why Starlink LEO Satellite is the Future
Every piece of technology goes from wired to wireless along it's evolution. The telephone, the TV "clicker, even the powering of a device through magnetic charging.
So with the advent of Starlink Low Earth Orbit satellite internet, it stands to reason wireless technology will the future of internet.
Currently the best of the best when it comes to internet is fiber optic but that is usually only available in the city. The government has offered grants for telecom companies to bring that technology to rural areas but even when subsidized, it still never arrived in those areas.
Now with Space-X Starlink, high speed, affordable internet is possible. Because of the Space-X rocket technology, rockets launches are affordable because they're land themselves, making them reusable. Space-X launches rockets everyday for their own services and government contracts.
Starlink is Space-X satellite internet service and they build everything from the rockets, to the internet satellites, to the downlink and uplink stations. Having everything in-house means deep savings for the customers.
And the service is fast. Much faster that geostationary satellite internet who's satellites are thousands of miles higher the sky which translates to latency IE slower speed.
Starlink will not only get faster the more satellites Space-X lauches (currently 6,371) but the more customers that sign up, the cheaper it will be over time. Since it's wireless, it's versatile. It can be used on the go. Starlink is currently in the works to offer satellite-to-cell service in collaboration with T-mobile which will provide some connectivity for those that find themselves in areas with little or no cell phone reception.
Satellite Oasis offer a wide array mounting solutions for Starlink.
